Across the fields of barren landscapes
The ghastly winds whisper of an old world
A world now behind and forlorn
Towards the north my route now turns
The weeks and months blend together
The further the voyage continues north
From a world of tyrants left behind
In search of freedom forevermore

Closer and closer I come unto thee

Forever lost in thy uncharted lands
Bleak is my heart yet with joy I tread
By the laws of thy order I am led
I wander alone yet in tune with thy currents
Yearning to conjure and harness thy power

Onward through ancient canyons
With awe and wonder
At last I arrive at the gates to a new world
Guarded by gods of thunder
In a distant mountain range
At the black hills of freedom
Where monuments of its fighters
Are carved in gargantuan stones
The light of thy majestic Sun
Has shined its rays upon me
Lifting me from the depths
Of the nihilism that ensnared my soul
Gone are the chains of the empire’s curse
Gone are the tyrants of the dark
Slain by the sword I forged in these hills
Slain by the runes that have blessed my heart

At last I arrive at a crux of light
Amidst the blackness of the night
A crux surrounded by an aura
The graceful aura of the Ancient Ones
Upon which I build an altar
In their honor, for their glory
In the darkness of this cold night
I conjure the holy ancient rites

Forever bound by the forests
Forests forever bound by the gods
Gods forever bound by
The offsprings of their creation
Lords of the natural order
My soul is one with thee
For thy honor, for thy glory!
